Step 1

Place all the liquid ingredients in the breadmaker bowl fitted with the kneading paddle. |
Step 2

Measure the flour, xanthan gum, salt, baking soda and sugar into another bowl. Gently whisk to mix evenly. |
Step 3

Scoop the dry ingredients into the breadmaker bowl on top of the liquid. Do not mix with the liquid. |
Step 4
|
Make a dent in the top of the dry ingredients and spoon the yeast into this dent. |
Step 5

Place breadmaker bowl into the breadmaker as directed by manufacturer. |
Step 6

Press the menu button to select 2 pound loaf, dark crust color and select gluten-free program. |
Step 7
|
Press the Start/Stop button to mix, rise and bake. While the dough is mixing, scrape the sides of the bread pan with a rubber spatula to fully incorporate ingredients. |
Step 8
|
When cycle is complete, remove the bread from the bread pan and place on wire rack. Cool completely for best slicing results. |
